Quick Chocolate Frosting

A quick and tasty chocolate frosting that is perfect to top brownies or easy chocolate cake.

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp (1 oz/28g) softened unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp whipping cream or milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. In medium bowl, or the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together butter, cocoa, vanilla, cream and salt.
  2. Add powdered sugar and mix on low to combine.
  3. Increase speed to medium high and whip until you have a smooth, spreadable frosting.
  4. Spread over top of cooled cake.
