A quick and tasty chocolate frosting that is perfect to top brownies or easy chocolate cake.

2 tbsp (1 oz/28g) softened unsalted butter
1 tbsp cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp whipping cream or milk
1 pinches salt
1 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

Step 1 In medium bowl, or the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together butter, cocoa, vanilla, cream and salt.
Step 2 Add powdered sugar and mix on low to combine.
Step 3 Increase speed to medium high and whip until you have a smooth, spreadable frosting.
Step 4 Spread over top of cooled cake.
